Labor Liberation Teach-Ins on Thursdays in January

The Occupy Denver Education Committee has scheduled a Labor Liberation Workshop teach-in event for the final two thursdays in January 2012. The Labor Liberation Workshop is a popular education workshop that explores the history & roots of worker struggle, the complexities of the labor movement in intersection with people’s diverse identities, and what building a community vision of worker power might look like. The workshop is intended to build grassroots movement for labor justice, support intersectional organizing with other movements & organizations in Denver, and animate people to participate in direct action for worker rights.

Thursday January 19th 5:30-6:45pm

Where:
In the Deer Pile space above City O’ City at 206 13th Ave.
